Shoeboxes are available in the Worship Center!
Operation Christmas Child Partnership At Liberty, we’re sharing authentic love and being disciples who make disciples by spreading good news and great joy in partnership with Operation Christmas Child.
The mission of Operation Christmas Child is two-fold: To provide God’s love in a tangible way to children in need around the world through shoeboxes filled with Christmas gifts (toys, school supplies, and essential toiletries) and to present the Gospel of Jesus Christ at festive outreach events where children are surprised with these shoebox gifts.
Each box will go to a child who has never before received such a gift, and has likely never heard the Gospel of Jesus Christ. The project delivers not only joy, but also gives a tangible expression of God’s love. Jesus authentically loved all people and we will too.
In addition to the shoebox gift, each child will receive a Bible story booklet in their language and be invited into a 12-week Bible study, where they’ll receive a Bible of their own upon completion. Learn more about Samaritan's Purse evangelism and discipleship program HERE.
Here are two ways you can participate:
Pack a Shoebox In-Person :
Pick-up a plastic box in the worship center foyer at Liberty during Sunday morning services beginning November 10th.
Pray for the child who will be receiving your box.
Shop for the box (see below for instructions).
Put items in the shoebox.
Place a label on the shoebox showing what demographic the box is for.
Place $9 for shipping fees in the box or register your box online.
Return your filled shoebox back to Liberty by November 24th.
